The title says it all

Great Digital Read

Easy to navigate. I actually like the digital copy better than the magazine .

This is where I turn

I got the Week several years ago. Then I got away from it for a while. Recently with all of the hullaballoo over the upcoming election and everything becoming SO political I wondered where I could see a synopsis of what is going on without having to read every article in every periodical. I know which way I lean but I would still like to hear what the other guy is saying to be able to make a balanced decision. The it came to me...The Week! I dont like everything they print because with the balance it sounds like they are making the other guy look good. This is EXACTLY what I want to read. BOTH sides. This is a fine magazine!

Epic Fail!

This is such a fun and fast magazine, but the ap gets worse and worse! What appeared to make it crash completely was my shelling out $50 for a subscription renewal; before that, I had tricks which would get it to work, now Im out $50, and the only thing the ap does is crash! So disappointed! Update: it gets worse and worse! Im starting to hate getting each new issue because it is UNREADABLE!!! Horrible, awful ap- save your money! And heres another update: NO IMPROVEMENT, although it has been a year. I am SO frustrated to have an awesome but unreadable magazine.

Super Magazine

This app is great way to always have the Week with you. I like the fact you change the font size.

15 Year subscriber

Like the week, Ill be brief. Extremely balanced, globe focused news giving you the best insight on your world in the shortest amount of time.

Fantastic content with one big flaw

UPDATE: The new version of the app appears to have added Evernote to the sharing menu, but it doesnt work. All that gets saved is the headline—not even an URL. Same thing happens when using the "save to Dropbox" option. Saves to Instapaper dont even get that far—they fail with no indication of why or what one can do about it. So the sharing menu got an "upgrade," but its useless. But the new version is way more stable on my iPad2, so thats a plus. *** The Week has been my favorite newsmagazine for years. The content is top-notch--concise and informative. The iPad app takes great advantage of the platform. When so many other magazines take the easy way out and just replicate their print pages in an app, its great to see a publisher take the time to re-layout stories to make best use of the iPads features. The font size is adjustable, which is a boon for old eyes. The app has Facebook and Twitter share buttons, but thats all. I crave Evernote integration. Other than that, its an excellent product.

Pure rotting garbage

To set the record straight, I love this magazine and its content, but this app is just the most worthless piece of junk Ive ever used. It crashes every time I use it. It doesnt save your reading spot from before. Download issues are common. Oh, and did I mention it crashes constantly? Pure digital subscription should only be about 10 bucks, because of the sheer frustration involved with this app.

Is it me?

I love, love, love The Week but the app wont open unless I go to my list of apps. Cant tap the icon on the screen to open. Is there still a bug at work?

Substantial

All stuff, no fluff. If you just want quality news reporting and not opinions from every blowhard on earth, this is a good magazine

Top Content but App is Unstable

Ive read the print version for years, but am disappointed with the app. It locks up and/or just shuts down. Very frustrating. KJM, Thousand Oaks

Love it

One of the best magazine apps! I can see it just as easily on iPhone as iPad! Its one of the few apps where I allow Notifications and I love anything in audio so the fact that The Week offers this in their Podcasts, is a real plus!

Incredibly slow

Takes forever to download a single issue. Waiting.....waiting.....waiting.....

The Week

The Week examines articles that have happened in various magazines and media over the week. It reminds me of an expanded Weekly Reader that I read in elementary school several years ago. The Week provides an excellent overview of what is happening in the world. An excellent publication.

Good format and content, only...

...when you can read it without freezing up! Happens more often than not, and more often in Night mode than Day.

Fix this app

With all the good things about The Week, this app is driving me crazy! Fix the crash! Whenever I read the magazine to long the app crashes and returns me to the homepage of my iPad Air 2. Then I have to start a the beginning and find where I left off in order to continue reading the article. Great content as usual for The Week. Just need a fix.

Love The Week

Everything I need to feel informed!

Best concise and balanced news summary!

There are two things I want in my news: balance viewpoint, and brevity. The Week nails it.

Cant even sign up for a free trial

Tried inputting my straightforward personal and work email addresses, but apparently theyre "invalid"

Best news review

The Week is the best overview of what is going on in the world. If you want more in-depth analysis you can follow the various sources cited. Truly a worthwhile subscription.
