UPDATE: The new version of the app appears to have added Evernote to the sharing menu, but it doesnt work. All that gets saved is the headline—not even an URL. Same thing happens when using the "save to Dropbox" option. Saves to Instapaper dont even get that far—they fail with no indication of why or what one can do about it. So the sharing menu got an "upgrade," but its useless.
But the new version is way more stable on my iPad2, so thats a plus.

The Week has been my favorite newsmagazine for years. The content is top-notch--concise and informative.
The iPad app takes great advantage of the platform. When so many other magazines take the easy way out and just replicate their print pages in an app, its great to see a publisher take the time to re-layout stories to make best use of the iPads features. The font size is adjustable, which is a boon for old eyes.
The app has Facebook and Twitter share buttons, but thats all. I crave Evernote integration.
Other than that, its an excellent product.
