The Week Magazine US App Reviews

The app is one of the quicker to navigate magazine apps I have. Well done. However, several times in the last two months I have unable to download new issues due to problems with their servers which lar for a few days at a time (I know this because I cant download new issues [it just hangs] or log in with my credentials). Unreliable service.

Ive been reading The Week since it was in press years ago. Love that it has move with the times to mobile.

Ive been reading The Week just about cover to cover for years now, and the app makes it easier to read on the run, on my iPhone. I like it!

A British colleague introduced me to The Week a few years ago. When I discovered the American version, I subscribed immediately. It is an excellent source of concise, detailed information for an ex-pat!

This app does not work for me! I have a print subscription to this fantastic news magazine and want desperately to have access to it on my ipad. Forget it! Still trying to figure out with The Week Customer Service why the app wont show the issues.... I have not given up just yet! Wish me luck!

Potential subscribers should realize they are buying the NYT/Wapo when they sign up. Pro union and globalist in its bias rendered perhaps a little more forgivable by its gorgeous front pages.

I can finally access the magazine when it comes out instead of waiting 2 weeks for it to get on my local newsstands (Canada). I love the free trial issues, night reading function, navigation. Only wish I could archive issues as Im done instead of keeping the latest 4.

If I could only afford one "news" app --- (I would cancel The Times, The Guardian, even The Telegraph) --- & this is the ONE I would buy. Brilliant journalism.

The is a fantastic publication - but the app itself has been driving me crazy for 5 weeks - nothing but problems. However I keep enduring as I like the magazine

I love the magazine but they charged me twice and started sending me two magazines. Ive been trying for more than a month now to get them to correct it and cant for the life of me get them to respond. My wife spent almost an hour on the phone and they recommended that we call our credit card company to deny the charge. I dont see why I should have to contact my credit card company to dispute a charge that was their mistake. Since then Ive written them multiple times to say that I will just take an extra year subscription to simplify things and they wont even respond. For a magazine that positions itself as one for busy people, they have sure wasted a lot of my time.

The Week is a great magazine, and I enjoyed their previous version of the app very much. I guess they couldnt leave well enough alone and redesigned the app, and it crashes frequently and unexpectedly, often when Im in the middle of reading an article. I tried to ask their customer service about it, but anything beyond deleting and reinstalling thr app (which did not resolve the problem) stumped them.

Much easier than reading the print version. Very timely. I receive the magazine on my app on Thursday and the print version, in the mail, on Saturday. The current version has crashed a couple of times but not too bad. All in all it is a great app.

Ive been reading The a Week for many years and consider it to be the best, well-rounded and fairest news source of them all. I no longer watch the news and barely read it online anymore. If you want a short and concise debriefing of your world from all sides, this is it!!

I love The Week, I appreciate that many sources are quoted. It truly as though most sides are represented. The fact that the format is the same every week, makes it easy to flip to what you want to get caught up on. The essay on the last pages are usually the first thing I read. Keep up the good work.
